Tonight's flight route led north-east along the South American Atlantic coast. Past the coastal city of Salvador, via the island airport Fernando De Noronha. From there, the flight crossed the Atlantic to reach the African continent at the height of Dakar. After flying over Algeria, they reached the Mediterranean in the early hours of the morning.
